Robert Draws – IPE 2025 continues at Antara Heritage Center (AHC) in Pasar Baru, Jakarta, bringing a new dimension to the exhibition of Indonesian art. From March 12 to March 18, 2025, the center will host a collection of remarkable works by prominent Indonesian artists. This event offers a chance for art enthusiasts and collectors to experience the rich artistic legacy of Indonesia. The exhibition follows a successful opening held at a five-star hotel in Jakarta, which was inaugurated by National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
With its mission to bring more than just a display of art, the exhibition seeks to promote a deeper understanding and appreciation of the stories and values conveyed through each painting. Featuring renowned artists such as KH. Ahmad Mustofa Bisri (Gus Mus), Nasirun, D. Kustin, and others, IPE 2025 at AHC becomes a significant event in the Indonesian art scene. It aims to inspire and connect audiences with the powerful messages embedded in each artwork.
At IPE 2025, the exhibition is not just about showcasing paintings but also creating a space for reflection and meaningful discussion. Founder of NU Gallery, Muchamad Nabil Haroen, emphasized that the exhibition is a movement that reaches beyond visual enjoyment. “Art has the power to inspire, deliver social messages, and provide a deep reflection for those who experience it,” he shared in a statement.
In addition to the artwork itself, the exhibition at AHC will also host discussions and meet-and-greet sessions with the artists. The aim is to engage the public in conversations about the significance of the artworks and the techniques used. By creating an environment of interaction and education, the event seeks to enhance the understanding of Indonesian art across generations.
IPE 2025 has already demonstrated its impact in a charitable way. During the previous exhibition at the Borobudur Hotel, the painting of National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo was successfully auctioned for IDR 330 million. All proceeds from the auction were donated to BAZNAS RI, supporting social programs during Ramadan, including charity for orphans and assistance for the less fortunate.
The charitable aspect of IPE 2025 highlights the social role that art can play in society. It is not only a form of expression but also a means of contributing to the community. This integration of art with philanthropy is one of the key elements that make the exhibition unique.
For those who missed the opening at Borobudur Hotel, IPE 2025 at Antara Heritage Center offers another chance. The exhibition at AHC opens daily from 9 AM to 10 PM for art lovers.
Nabil said, “The exhibition allows those who missed the first opening to experience the artwork up close.” Visitors will enjoy the visual beauty of the paintings and gain insights into their meanings and stories. IPE 2025 aims to connect the artwork with a broader audience, including more collectors and the public.
