Robert Draws – Indonesian Artists Showcase Masterpieces at KSBN’s 2025 Cultural Art Event, where more than 50 painters from the Indonesian Painters Association (ASPEN) participate. This grand exhibition, titled “Pergelaran Seni Rupa Berbasis Budaya Nusantara 2025,” presents various artistic expressions. The event takes place at the National Library of Indonesia in Jakarta from February 10 to February 17, 2025.
ASPEN Secretary-General Mas Wito hopes this exhibition will be an opportunity for cultural learning and awareness. He believes that art can help raise consciousness about social issues and inspire positive change.
Mas Wito, a professional painter who has won competitions since childhood, emphasizes the importance of preserving cultural heritage. Through paintings, society can learn about traditions and values passed down through generations. He highlights the contributions of renowned Indonesian painters such as Raden Saleh, Basuki Abdullah, Affandi, and S. Sudjojono.
He also hopes that this exhibition will inspire young painters to actively participate in the art scene. The event aims to introduce Indonesia’s rich artistic heritage to the world.

In addition to the art exhibition, the event will also feature an ethnic fashion show. Famous actress and model Raline Shah will participate as the main icon, wearing traditional ethnic attire. Other celebrities, designers, and fashion figures such as Angkie Yudhistia, Tantri Dyah Kirana Dewi, and Dede Yusuf will also join the fashion show.
“Pergelaran Seni Rupa Berbasis Budaya Nusantara 2025” will also include a variety of cultural activities. These activities include panel discussions on cultural preservation, live painting demonstrations, photography workshops, and traditional weaving showcases. There will also be painting and coloring competitions for young children from preschool to elementary school.
The event involves ASPEN members and KSBN representatives from 18 provinces across Indonesia. KSBN has actively supported cultural initiatives since its establishment in 2017 and continues to promote Indonesian arts on a national and global scale.
